Welcome to Let's Dance Miami ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to schedule your discovery session and follow up with you. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit the form on this site, we collect:
- Your first name — so we know how to address you.
- Your phone number — so we can text you within one business day to schedule your session.
- Your email address — as a backup contact and to send appointment details.
- Your interest selection — coming alone, with a partner, or for a wedding dance — so we can tailor your experience.
We also automatically collect:
- Your IP address — for fraud prevention and to understand where our visitors come from.
- A timestamp — recording when you submitted the form.
- Basic technical information your browser sends, such as your user agent and referring page.
We don't ask for, store, or process payment information through this website. If you choose to attend a discovery session, payment is handled at our studio.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Contact you to schedule your $25 Discovery Session.
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Respond to your questions.
- Keep a private, internal record of your inquiry.
We don't use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than the ones listed above.
3. How We Share Your Information
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the form:
- An SMS gateway service to notify our team about your inquiry by text message.
- Google Sheets (via Google Apps Script) to store your inquiry in our private lead log.
- ipify.org, a public IP-lookup service, to record the IP address your form was submitted from.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not share your information with anyone else unless required by law.
4. Communications
By submitting the form, you consent to receive a text message and/or email from us about your discovery session. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by emailing us at the address below.
5. Cookies and Tracking
This website does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics. The only data we collect is what you submit through the form, together with the technical information described in Section 1.
6. Data Retention
We keep your inquiry information for as long as is reasonably necessary to operate our studio — typically up to 24 months from the date of last contact — unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information from our records.
- Opt out of further communications at any time.
To make any of these requests, contact us at the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're a resident of Florida, California, or any other state with specific privacy laws, those laws may give you additional rights — feel free to ask, and we'll honor any rights that apply.
8. Children's Privacy
Let's Dance Miami's programs and this website are intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this form. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure, but we do our best to keep your data safe.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll do our best to notify you directly.
