Welcome to Let's Dance Miami ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to schedule your discovery session and follow up with you. This policy applies to our discovery session inquiry website at letsdancemiami.com and explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit the form on this site, we collect:
- Your first name — so we know how to address you.
- Your phone number — to call you about scheduling your requested session, and send session-related SMS if you choose that option.
- Your email address — to respond to your request and send appointment details, including when you do not opt in to SMS.
- Your SMS preference and consent record — which submit option you used and whether you agreed to SMS, the disclosure shown, its version, the consent and submission timestamps, the page URL, and a reference linking the consent to your inquiry.
- Your interest selection — coming alone, with a partner, or for a wedding dance — so we can tailor your experience.
We also automatically collect:
- Your IP address — for fraud prevention and to understand where our visitors come from.
- Consent verification information — TrustedForm certificate URLs and records of the page, disclosures, and interactions with the form, including clicks and entered form data as captured by the service.
- A timestamp — recording when you submitted the form.
- Basic technical information your browser sends, such as your user agent and referring page.
We don't ask for, store, or process payment information through this website. If you choose to attend a discovery session, payment is handled at our studio.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Contact you to schedule your $25 Discovery Session.
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders by email, or by SMS if you opted in.
- Respond to your questions.
- Keep a private, internal record of your inquiry.
We don't use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than the ones listed above.
3. How We Share Your Information
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the form:
- An SMS gateway service to notify our team about your inquiry by text message.
- ActiveProspect TrustedForm to document the form experience and consent choices and issue a certificate associated with your inquiry.
- Google Sheets (via Google Apps Script) to store your inquiry in our private lead log.
- ipify.org, a public IP-lookup service, to record the IP address your form was submitted from.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not share your information with anyone else unless required by law.
SMS Privacy
We do not sell, rent, transfer, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent applies only to Let's Dance Miami and cannot be transferred to another sender.
Service providers may process mobile information and consent records only as needed to deliver our services, maintain our records, and support our messaging program on our behalf. They are not authorized to use this information for their own marketing or enroll you in other messaging programs.
4. Communications
Both submission options request a call from our team about your discovery session. Clicking “Claim My Discovery Session” also gives consent to SMS at the number provided about scheduling, confirmations, and reminders, as explained beside the button. Clicking “Continue without text reminders” submits the same inquiry and requests the same scheduling call without SMS consent. We may also use email to respond to your inquiry. SMS consent is optional and not a condition of booking.
The Let's Dance Miami Appointment Updates program covers your discovery session inquiry, scheduling, confirmations, and reminders. It does not include promotional messages or consent to marketing calls. Message frequency varies with your inquiry and appointments. Message and data rates may apply. 5. Cookies and Tracking
We use TrustedForm to record the page and your interactions with the form for consent verification, including when you choose to continue without SMS. A certificate documents the interaction; it does not by itself mean you agreed to SMS. We collect form details, communication preferences, consent records, and the technical information described in Section 1. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives technical request information such as your IP address and browser headers.
6. Data Retention
We keep your inquiry information for as long as is reasonably necessary to operate our studio — typically up to 24 months from the date of last contact — unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information from our records.
- Opt out of further communications at any time.
To make any of these requests, contact us at the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're a resident of Florida, California, or any other state with specific privacy laws, those laws may give you additional rights — feel free to ask, and we'll honor any rights that apply.
8. Children's Privacy
Let's Dance Miami's programs and this website are intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this form. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure, but we do our best to keep your data safe.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll do our best to notify you directly.
